The show I attended here in Orlando, Florida was on full-speed and the last show of the US tour. It was technically a double-bill with Boy George (who I didn't mention in my review here seemed to be the bigger draw) and was slightly shorter than a normal gig. But I will always put Squeeze on top having been a fan for 40 years.

Ah, that's interesting regarding the popularity of Boy George in the US. Not particularly being a fan of his / Culture Club, I didn't know if he was seen as bigger than Squeeze. I'd put Squeeze on top, too. :)

Orlando has a very prominent and tight LGBTQ+ community (which I'm part of). But I'd venture to say, that the audience demographic (again, as I skew into that area too!) was befitting George as his profile was much higher here in the US, due in no small part to MTV.

'Take Me I'm Yours. was the first punk/new wave single I bought at the tender age of 14, the band wrote so many fine songs, I consider 'Up The Junction' to be one of the greatest pop songs of all time!

Ah, fantastic! Yeah, Up The Junction is a slice of perfection. A three-act story contained within 3 minutes and 11 seconds (or thereabouts).

What was your favorite song of the night?

Oh, good question! It's hard to pick one, to be honest. Possibly ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ but they were all brilliant - even the new songs I wasn't familiar with.

Annie is definitely a VERY danceable, high energy song.

I loved One Beautiful Summer. Classic Glenn writing music that (in my opinion) doesn’t match the lyrics. Great back story and lyrics, but the music is almost industrial and aggressive, but in a good way.

One Beautiful Summer is great. I can't wait for the new albums. Hope at least one is released in the spring or first half of 2025.
